Young women of influence = Tilma Group MD Linda Tillman

The Country Web newsletter is produced by the NSW Department of Primary Industries Rural Women's Network, and is a newsletter for rural women and their families. The newsletter is a source of information and support for women dealing with the many aspects of rural life. Through the newsletter women are able to share ideas, issues, inspiration, information, experiences and opportunities.

Each edition of The Country Web focuses on a particular issue, with past editions highlighting: women in non traditional roles, farming, droughts and floods, getting back to basics, celebrating creativity, perception verses reality, my heart - my country, family, health, education, work and employment, finance, value adding, women in decision making, the law, isolation, the environment and much more.

As well as issues based articles, the newsletter also provides regular columns including women's leadership, communities in focus, social media, men's matters, parenting, health, grants and funding, resources and what's on and what's new.

The Number 60 issue of The Country Web (due out in July) will continue on with the theme 'Women of Influence' and will showcase younger women from rural and regional New South Wales who are actively involved in their industry and community. These women are tomorrow leaders and will play a key role in helping to build a thriving, sustainable agriculture for our communities.

The Tilma Group Managing Director Linda Tillman was fortunate to be elected as one of the feature women to appear in this edition of the newsletter, and she is extremely honored!

“Everything I do is about regional and rural Australia, it is my passion. I am just fortunate enough to be able to combine my career and skills in tourism and marketing with this love!” commented Linda.

Stay tuned for your issue of the Country Web to arrive in the paper, or if you have not subscribed visit the website today (or you are missing out!).
